Ford Mustang GT V8 Review (UK)

The 2017 Ford Mustang GT is the UK's first convertible variant of this muscle car. Housing a 5-litre V8 engine producing 421bhp, it's big on performance. Is it too powerful to be an everyday car? Continue reading

MINI Countryman Cooper SD ALL4

Adventure. That's what the MINI Countryman embodies in its rugged structure. Let me be the first to admit I had some awful presumptions about the Mini countryman - big and clumsy. I imagined it would handle as well as a paper boat in choppy waters! How surprised was I when I used (and abused) the name Countryman, and took it to the country roads... The Countryman Cooper SD ALL4 is typically mini, albeit higher and bolder than the other models in the range, with the addition of roof rails as standard. The design traits are still that of the iconic Mini. Round headlights, contrast roof and it is available in a wide range of colours. Personalisation lies at the heart of MINI. The car I had for the weekend has the Chili pack on it, which means it reaps the benefits of LED lights and 18...

Ford Kuga Review 2017

Ford motor company was founded by Henry Ford in 1903 and has taken the world by storm - it's the fifth biggest auto producer in the world! The 2017 Ford Kuga SUV definitely portrays how far Ford has come and how well they've adapted to the changing market over their 114 years of production. The original Ford Kuga definitely didn't make much of an impact on anyone except those who bought it - and regretted it. It wasn't nice looking and it wasn't the friendliest to drive either. RELATED POST: Is the new 2023 Ford Kuga plug-in hybrid worth your money? Appearance This model here is the 2nd generation of the Ford Kuga which was released in 2013 and then had a face-lift in 2016, which was much needed in my opinion. This stunning 2017 Ford Kuga ST-Line I had the pleasure of driv...

Audi A6 Saloon

Romance may not be Germany's strong point but they sure know how to make you fall in love with a car! The Audi A6 is beautiful. Since I started driving I've only ever dreamed of driving an Audi. My uncle always gets the newest model of his choice through his company, but the last few have progressed through the A6 saloon S-line series. I envied him for it. Never would I imagine that at just twenty-two years of age I would be the owner of an Audi A6 Saloon! Although it might only be an SE model, it's everything I dreamed of - and more. Appearance Come rain or shine, I have a smile on my face as I approach the beautifully crafted body, with its sharp edges and refined trim (despite offering less appeal as the S-line model). The front grill screams aggressively at any car you drive ...

Mercedes-Benz GLA

Us humans love to find fault in everything. It's just how we are. But I guarantee you, you will NOT find an angle from which the Mercedes-Benz GLA doesn't look athletic. Every section of this compact SUV has been carefully designed and it shows in the dynamic edges found on every panel, making it look a lot like a sports coupé. Is Mercedes-Benz GLA a SUV? It is primarily a pumped up version of the A-class so (somewhat disappointingly) some of the character traits have been carried over to the GLA. Mercedes claim this is a small SUV. Yes, at first glance you would say that. But upon closer inspection you realise the ground clearance isn't that great - in fact, it's less than that of a Vauxhall Astra! Most GLA's do come with 4 wheel drive as standard and more height than ...

Volvo XC60 D4 R-Design Lux Nav

Trendy. Urban. Practical. Combine that with the beautiful alloys, the new front grill and the redesigned headlights and you have a car that will have heads turning wherever it takes you. It could be the perfect family SUV. Style mixed with comfort and versatility is the aim for any modern SUV. Well, the sporty seats of the R-Design certainly hug you on those long journeys and give a great deal of support as you weave through those country roads for your family road trips. Space is plentiful inside, even for passengers in the back plus the back seats have 2 height adjustable booster seats for kids built in. Despite the sports chassis, this car is capable of conquering many terrains. In the city the car is quiet and the automatic transmission shifts effort...

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque Coupe

Before its launch in 2011, the idea of a compact and affordable small SUV by Land Rover was laughable. Boy have they shown us with the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. Despite being the smallest SUV in the range, it certainly sizes up well when compared to other Land Rover Range Rover models. It has a ground clearance of 215mm and can wade through water as deep as 500mm - so yes, it's small and stylish, but it's more than capable of handling many off-road terrains as well as street driving. I guess though you're not here to see how the Evoque handles mountains or lakes so let's talk daily driving. The Range Rover Evoque is capable of stopping anyone in their tracks. With a unique beefy yet provoking build, it certainly attracts many eyes as you cruise through the town centre. Mos...
