Arnold Clark’s Paisley BYD showroom has been named the UK’s top retailer for 2025, winning Retail Sales of the Year at this year’s BYD Retailer Awards after selling more than 700 new cars.
An Arnold Clark dealership in Paisley has been awarded Retail Sales of the Year at the BYD Retailer Awards 2025, after becoming the highest-selling BYD showroom in the UK.
The Paisley branch was one of the first dedicated BYD showrooms in the UK, opening early as the Chinese electric vehicle brand expanded into the British market. Since then, it has seen rapid and sustained growth, consistently recording the highest monthly sales volumes of BYD vehicles nationwide.
Serving customers across Glasgow and the west of Scotland, the dealership has played a key role in introducing BYD’s electric and plug-in hybrid models to local drivers. Its strong performance reflects growing demand for affordable electric cars in the region, alongside the branch’s early adoption of the brand.
The Retail Sales of the Year award recognises overall sales performance across the UK network, with the Paisley team outperforming every other BYD retailer throughout 2025.
Month after month, the branch led the table for registrations, securing its position as the top-selling BYD retailer in the country. BYD was also voted as the ‘most loved brand’ at the Autotrader drivers’ choice awards 2025.
